Welcome to Date Like A Girl.

Date Like a Girl is based on The Rules phenomenon when back in the 1980s Ellen Fein and Sherrie Schneider recognised that modern women, although successful in their careers, were finding the world of dating confusing, painful and even disastrous.

After studying their friends relationships they decided to analyse what worked and what didn't. They realised a simple fact. That women who pursue men got hurt, treat badly and dumped but women who let the man do the pursuing were treated better, were happier in their relationships and more likely to get married.

As a Certified Rules Coach I wrote this website to introduce you to The Rules world of dating. I've seen these principles work in my own life and the lives of my friends. If you don't believe me try some of the ideas in your own life and see what happens.

When women end up in bad relationships their self-worth and self-confidence erodes. They are miserable but hang on hoping and hoping that things will get better. They think maybe if I cook him a meal or listen to his problems or send him a card to show how much I care he'll surely see how great I am and stick around. They keep on making the same mistakes and wonder why they keep getting the same results. If this is your experience then The Rules way of dating will help you see these patterns and do something different.

This website contains resources, links and books to help you get started. As a certified Rules Coach I will work personally with you providing dating answers to specific questions, relationship troubleshooting consultations to analyse your current relationship or dating prep consultation where we take a look at your dating history to prepare you for the dating world.

I was the girl who got walked on, now I'm the girl who gets flowers.
